Marston Times

The Marston Times originally started as the Marston News and was the church’s newsletter to the community. It was started by the vicar at the time, Reverend Paul Rimmer, in January 1971 and later became the Marston Times.  His first article was titled “I Do Like a Lie-In on a Sunday Morning”. With the pandemic and lockdown in 2020, publication of the Marston Times was stopped until mid-2021. In its place a scaled down on-line version called the Marston Messenger was produced. Moving forward, the Marston Times will be printed and delivered to every home in Old Marston, free of charge, four times a year. For the other months, the Marston Messenger will be published on-line and can be downloaded from our website. If you would like a printed version of the Marston Messenger then you will be able to collect from outside the church or you can contact the administrator to arrange to have a copy delivered to your address. To contact the editor Jan Lawrie then send an email to her at marstontimes@gmail.com.
