Pastoral Care

Hi, I’m Eileen and I’m the Pastoral Care Officer.  You can contact me on 01865 725423 or Eileen.palayiwa@yahoo.com.  I’m here to help Skye with the pastoral care in the Parish and I’m available should you need a listening ear or want to talk about specific issues. As well as listening, I may be able to point you to appropriate sources of help.  I’m not here to solve all your problems or tell you what to do, but I hope that talking things through may help you to decide what is best for you.

I also co-ordinate the Prayer and Care Groups which are a way in which we care for each other.

Our working definition is:

“Helping one another grow in the love of God, likeness to Christ and fruitful service in the whole of life”. 

Members are placed into groups which each have a leader who will keep I contact with them according to each member’s preference. Some may like regular phone calls, others just occasional ones or contact via email. Pastoral group leaders will also keep members informed about Church Activities. Group members are encouraged to pray for and support each other and to let their group leader know if there any concerns about another member.
