Green Church

“Outdoor services of gentle reconnection with our roots”

Green Church meets several times each year. During Green Church we will do a variety of outdoor activities. There will be a short service in the memorial garden next to the church followed by the activity (weather permitting) and then returning for refreshments at the eco-hub. Outdoor activities are weather permitting. Short Celtic gatherings will be held in the memorial garden with chairs provided (inside if wet). Our programme for 2026 is:

  • 06:00 12th April 2026 – bird walk lead by Andy followed by breakfast in the hall afterwards
  • 10:00 31st May 2026 – short outdoors service followed by a late spring flower and butterfly walk
  • 18:00 12th July 2026 – Pause for Thought talk on gardening for wildlife by Wild Oxfordshire in the church hall
  • 10:00 30th August 2026 – short outdoors service followed by weeding in the church yard
  • 15:00 18th October – spring bulb planting followed by tea and cake in the church
